I have been absolutely dying to see these images of Megan & Jarryd’s wedding. It feels like a lifetime ago that Megan and I first started chatting about her dress ideas and from the start I couldn’t wait to hit the sewing room and create her dream tea length wedding dress. Megan chose a classic 50s style with a bateau neckline, fitted bodice and full circle tea length skirt. To give the dress a super cute look she wanted 3/4 length sleeves with wide cuffs that featured buttons on the edge to give an almost cufflink style look which I just love! The entire dress was made in ivory dupion silk with a small polka dot tulle overlay on the entire gown.
When Megan send through these gorgeous images I could not wipe the smile off my face. What an incredible day!! This fabulous images were taken by Tanya Fitzgerald – Red Photography who are based in Canberra but more than happy to travel to capture awesome weddings! I have completely fallen in love with their photography of Megan & Jarryd in the vintage carriages.
What an absolutely gorgeous couple! It has been such a pleasure working with Megan on this dress which is one of my favourite gowns of all time that I’ve created!
