One of my lovely brides Manelle recently shared some very fun images of her recent wedding for us all to enjoy.  When I met with Manelle she fell in love with the bodice of Cherry Blossom but as she is so petite, the full floor length gown was just far too much for her.  We decided to go for a shorter knee length skirt and have it a little less full to ensure the balance was right.

As her & Elliott’s wedding was taking place in the registry office with a restaurant reception it was important to her that the gown look bridal but not be too over the top for the more relaxed style of event she was having.

It was such a pleasure working with Manelle and hearing the regular updates on the stunning origami flower bouquet and table arrangement she was making.  I’ve even included a close up of her bouquet for everyone to admire her and her families hard work (there were several flower folding workshops to be had before she assembled the bouquet!).

Crafty Manelle even tea dyed her own shoes as she couldn’t find the perfect style in champagne, so instead she bought an ivory pair and made them the right colour.  I was so impressed with the results!!

To complete her simple yet stylish look she wore a champagne beaded lace head band also available through Silver Sixpence – the perfect accessory for brides not wishing to wear a veil.
