Lovely Bridget is one of my recent brides who I’m very excited to share some gorgeous wedding day images of!  It was really important for Bridget that her gown be simple yet stunning and that it was a style that she felt comfortable in for her relaxed wedding day.

As we worked through designs, the “Audrey” design really made an impression on Bridget as well as the skirt of the “Betty” dress.  So I created a combination of these two designs for her, creating a capped sleeve bodice with a fitted midriff feature to give a really cinched in waist as well as a full skirt with soft folds on her tea length skirt.

Bridget kept her accessories to a minimum as she wanted her fabulous royal blue shoes to really pop as well as her colourful bouquet.  A simple pearl necklace and bracelet is often the perfect accessory mix for a simple vintage inspired wedding dress such as hers.

As her gown was a simple fabric, this allowed her to add a fabulous sparkly bolero for her reception to create a new look without changing her gown.

I am a big fan of simple family affairs when it comes to wedding days so I’ve also included some images she shared of her reception for a little inspiration for you all.  How amazing was her cake with all of those yummy layers!!!
