Sometimes a simple gown is the most elegant and the design I recently created for Aneesa is absolutely one of those.  I just love the simple ivory dupion silk bodice with bateau neckline and slight capped sleeves.  The skirt was a tea length full circle skirt with layered tulle over the skirt to add some softness.  Such a stunning tea length wedding dress for brides who love an understated chic look.

All too often brides when shopping for their wedding dress will see the gown on it’s own on a rack and feel as though it’s not enough.  We generally forget that on the day the gown will also have plenty of jewellery to accessorise with it, there may be a veil or hair accessory, generally a lovely bouquet and often even fabulous shoes for those going for a shorter wedding dress.  As you can see with Aneesa a simple dress really does look amazing when you put it all together on the day (and why outshine such a gorgeous face with a busy wedding dress!).

To add just a touch of sparkle around the waist we actually worked out that one of the diamante hair ribbons that I stock would make the perfect substitute for a belt or sash.  I just love how it turned out when she teamed that up with her stunning dress.

I have some utterly gorgeous shots captured by Florido Weddings of Aneesa looking fabulous on her wedding day to share with you all!
