Sixpence was created in 2006 in response to the huge demand for unique vintage
inspired wedding and bridesmaid dresses. With local bridal stores severely
lacking in retro style dresses Melanie established her custom dressmaking
service and is proud to be Brisbane's first bridal dressmaker specializing in
authentic vintage reproduction dresses. As Silver Sixpence is a small home based business we can strive to keep our prices highly
competitive.

the 1920s to the 1940s. This style has re-emerged

style wedding dresses and have an
extensive collection of styles for you to choose from to
create a truly authentic look. Whether

Silver Sixpences bouquets are a
fabulous alternative to the traditional fresh or silk
flower bouquet. All bouquets consist of individual
hand made flowers created from fabric and assembled into
posies to compliment your
bridal gown or bridesmaids dresses. Choose from
bouquets made from our traditional bridal colours or
have us create a gorgeous bouquet that match your
colours perfectly.
